Duties: The University of Regina invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment at the rank of Instructor I, II or III, (depending on qualifications) within the Faculty of Nursing commencing July 1, 2024, subject to final budgetary approval. This is a teaching-focused position. The Faculty of Nursing seeks a candidate with experience in nursing education and broad clinical experience that will be drawn upon to make their teaching relevant and engaging. The incumbent will primarily work from our Regina Campus. Some travel will be required to support student learning and community engagement
Requirements: The successful applicant must be qualified to teach all introductory-level nursing courses and be prepared to actively participate in program and curriculum development, particularly in rural and remote nursing program delivery. A Master’s degree is required, a Master’s of Nursing is preferred, and the ability to practice as a Nurse Practitioner within Saskatchewan would be considered an asset. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in rural/remote clinical, nursing education, and online teaching experience. The successful candidate will also have evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate level, excellent communication skills, comprehensive knowledge of nursing practice, and a demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm for teaching.
