Duties: We are seeking to appoint a Research Associate (Level B) in Ocean Modelling in the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies, which is part of College of Sciences and Engineering at the University of Tasmania. This initial fixed term contract will be for three years with funding available for an extension up to the seven year life of the Centre
Requirements: A PhD or equivalent in fluid dynamics, physical oceanography, atmospheric science, applied mathematics or an equivalent field; Demonstrable knowledge of ocean processes and/or air-sea coupling; Demonstrable knowledge of developing/configuring/running ocean and/or coupled climate models

Duties: Identify and recruit eligible participants by collaborating with ophthalmology and local optometry clinics; Provide informed consent to potential participants to ensure understanding of the research aims, procedures, risks, and benefits; Coordinate ophthalmic clinical activities including appointment scheduling, follow-up visits, and communication with research patients; Collect and manage accurate clinical data from patient interactions, and follow-up assessments, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
Requirements: A degree level qualification in a relevant area or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training; Experience in Ophthalmic Clinical assessment is desirable but not essential; Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to be self-directed and use initiative and record-keeping skills appropriate to carrying out a scientific investigation; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a range of people and organisations

Duties: We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy to the School of Health Sciences within the College of Health and Medicine to join the Allied Health Expansion Program. The Allied Health Expansion Program is an exciting initiative through which we are creating new opportunities to better support the Allied Health labour force needs in Tasmania. We are collaborating with government, health professionals, industry, and local Tasmanian communities to increase allied health education, training, and research opportunities in Tasmania
Requirements: Experience in University-level teaching and learning, with demonstrated ability to deliver dynamic and relevant learning experiences for students across all delivery modes using contemporary teaching practices; Clinical expertise with recency or currency in occupational therapy practice

Duties: Undertake high-quality research of international standing, work towards securing external competitive and other funding, publish research findings and contribute to the successful supervision of research higher degree students; Undertake scholarly undergraduate (and where required, postgraduate) coursework teaching of a high quality; Contribute to curriculum and assessment development, and unit coordination in undergraduate and Honours (and postgraduate where required) course offerings, for both face-to-face and online models of learning and teaching
Requirements: A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field of Psychology and Undergraduate training in Psychology, such as a Bachelor degree; A good record of research that has achieved international recognition and made worthwhile contributions to the field of psychology demonstrated by a record of quality publications, presentations at conferences and preferably success in securing external competitive and other funding

Duties: The Lecturer in Psychology and External Relationships Liaison (Level B) is an exciting opportunity to work with the leadership team to shape how we grow the mental health work force for Tasmania. The successful applicant will collaborate with the Tasmanian Mental Health Community to manage existing and develop new placements for Psychology Masters students, to ensure that students achieve required professional practice competencies. The appointee will also make a strong contribution to teaching and supervision in a range of clinical and/or educational and developmental topics at postgraduate level
