Duties: East Tennessee State University is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor clinician/educator in Pediatric Pulmonology responsible for educating and mentoring medical students and residents, as well as pediatric pulmonology clinical care. Successful applicants must have completed a pediatric Pulmonology fellowship and be board-certified/eligible at the time of hire
Requirements: MD or DO; Completed Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship and BE/BC in Pediatric Pulmonology at the time of hire

Duties: Prepare and analyze complex data for use in actuarial experience studies, valuation, or pricing projects; Provide significant support for development of pricing and underwriting tools; Develop reserve factors, analyze reserves and monitor reserve changes; Develop experience analysis reviews; Support maintenance of valuation system; Support preparation of financial reports and tax returns
Requirements: Bachelors Degree required; Credit for at least four exams; A minimum of 12 months hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of business analysis, pricing, valuation, ALM or corporate experience

Duties: Perform analysis of emerging experience, monitor marketplace and economic trends and review implications; Support development of analysis framework; Recommend updated pricing, valuation or reserving assumptions; Regularly communicate research findings and analysis to management; Effectively work with any number of other cross functional/operational areas (e.g. underwriting, compliance, customer care) on specific initiatives; Depending on area assigned, develop pricing or valuation tools, prepare state filings, financial reports and tax returns
Requirements: Bachelors degree required; A designation of Associate in the Society of Actuaries; Desire to attain FSA status; A minimum of two years hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of business analysis, pricing, valuation, ALM or corporate experience

Duties: Design and execute analytical solutions using optimization, simulation, data mining and other statistical methods with a focus on delivering actionable business value; Integrate large volume of data from different sources (including DB2, SQL Server, Web API and Teradata) to create data assets for ad-hoc analyses and larger studies; Apply validation, aggregation, and reconciliation techniques to create rich modeling-ready data framework; Construct and tune predictive models to explain and understand observed events, forecast expected behavior, or identify risk through scoring or clustering
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field is required, Master’s is preferred; 4 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant work experience preferred

Duties: Will oversee the execution of a team's analytics strategy. Guiding their team on the usage of tools, methodologies and ensuring their team is tracking towards goals and project deadlines; Oversee the implementation of best practices in support of data & analytics projects to drive consistency and standardization of data usage and analytics practices; Responsible for recruiting, training, performance management, coaching, development and retention of staff within their team; Oversees the construction of predictive models, data pipelines and analytics workflows in the support of operational and analytics objectives. Will also meaningfully contribute to the development of these assets as necessary
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred; A minimum of 5+ years hands-on experience acting as a Data Engineer, BI Analyst or Data Scientist. Based on specific team composition and goals one discipline may carry more weight than the others; Prior leadership and/or management experience preferred; Experience with analytics programming languages (SQL/R/Python)
