Duties: The Department of Chemistry is looking to appoint a Departmental Lecturer in Practical Chemistry (Inorganic) to support the delivery of its integrated practical chemistry course to undergraduate students. Duties: The postholder will work in close collaboration with the PIs and NWMO team to identify appropriate sampling strategies to ensure the quality of samples returned to the Oxford Laboratory environment. Duties: Successful applicants will join an exciting research project that aims to understand how cool temperatures, such as experienced during torpor, affect the cellular circadian clock. Duties: The Faculty of Law seeks to appoint a half-time Departmental Lecturer in Taxation during the academic years 2024-2025 and 2025-2026, to meet a shortfall in teaching needs pending a review of the teaching requirements of the programme. The Departmental Lecturer will be required to undertake teaching and supervision at graduate level in the field of Tax Law, and participate in the broader running of the part-time MSc in Taxation and other taxation courses in the Law Faculty. Duties: We are seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant who will work with Professor Malavika Nair and the SMARTBio Team to develop prototype regenerative and therapeutic technologies for cardiac tissue engineering using extracellular matrix derived constructs, at the Department of Engineering Science, Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Botnar Research Centre, Headington. Duties: You will be responsible for expressing and purifying human helicase proteins for assay development and X-ray crystallography and Cryo-electron microscopy. You will manage your own academic research on a small number of helicase targets concurrently and administrative activities.
