Duties: The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Department of Epidemiology in the School of Public Health is inviting applications from outstanding candidates for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (12-month appointments with rank and tenure status commensurate with qualifications)
Requirements: Applicants must hold a PhD, MD or equivalent doctoral degree, have graduate-level training in epidemiology, and have a research focus in cardiovascular epidemiology

Duties: Lead a staff of over 40 Program Managers and Coordinators, Clinical and Research Specialists, Statisticians, and Computer Programmers and be responsible for the organization’s growth and changes to move the BDMAC forward; Encourage new statistical methodologies and make recommendations, or capitalize on opportunities where new methodology or approaches could save costs and time; Collaborate on the development and submission of multicenter and multinational funding applications for randomized clinical trials and cohort studies with a DCC component; Develop and oversee budgets for multicenter DCCs
Requirements: PhD, ScD or DrPH in Biostatistics or related field with emphasis on applied statistical methodology; 5 years of experience in clinical or biostatistical research; Experience leading project teams
