Duties: You will be expected to conduct original, rigorous, and internationally significant research in development economics, and to help build our already strong community of doctoral and post-doctoral researchers. Core teaching will contribute to BSc and MSc programmes in International Development with Economics, as well as quantitative methods across a wider range of programmes, including the MSc in Public Policy
Requirements: Our ideal candidate will have a doctoral qualification or equivalent in Economics with a clear focus on Development Economics, and a single or joint undergraduate degree in Economics. You will also have some teaching experience and demonstrated capacity to publish internationally recognised work. While open to applicants with diverse interests and expertise you will need to demonstrate a willingness and capacity to thrive within a strongly interdisciplinary community, and a commitment to research and teaching that is relevant to contemporary global challenges
