Duties: You will be expected to conduct original, rigorous, and internationally significant research in development economics, and to help build our already strong community of doctoral and post-doctoral researchers. Core teaching will contribute to BSc and MSc programmes in International Development with Economics, as well as quantitative methods across a wider range of programmes, including the MSc in Public Policy
Requirements: Our ideal candidate will have a doctoral qualification or equivalent in Economics with a clear focus on Development Economics, and a single or joint undergraduate degree in Economics. You will also have some teaching experience and demonstrated capacity to publish internationally recognised work. While open to applicants with diverse interests and expertise you will need to demonstrate a willingness and capacity to thrive within a strongly interdisciplinary community, and a commitment to research and teaching that is relevant to contemporary global challenges

Duties: You will work with academics in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science and professional service staff who are involved in 'research about research'. The first will relate to the development of research culture in Universities and the second to citation practices. Support with student supervision and supporting the development of applications for research funding may also be required
Requirements: The post is aimed at an individual that has a relevant social science PhD qualification with evidenced experience of supporting systematic approaches to literature reviews, open research practices, and publication

Duties: We are looking for a Lecturer in Architecture (Teaching) to help facilitate the education of our students. Underpinning these activities are an ongoing commitment to continuing professional development and scholarship, where scholarship involves engaging with a deep and broad study of Architecture, familiarity with the current boundaries of knowledge and how they are advanced, and active participation in the development of education in Architecture. Should you not already hold a formal teaching qualification, you will be supported by the University through our Higher Education Academy accredited teaching development programme
Requirements: A PhD or equivalent professional expertise in a relevant discipline; Experience of teaching at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels; Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills; A creative vision for development and delivery of teaching programmes

Duties: Lead the Engineering Support team to deliver the supply of Designability products; Manage the Medical Device Files (technical files) for medical devices; Working closely with the Engineering Operations Manager to lead and undertake the QMS procedures relating to engineering operations, keeping accurate records and continuously improving our processes; Create accurate production schedules to satisfy demand including reporting and KPI tracking; Work closely with the Production Team Lead to manage internal resources, build schedules and timely supply of components to meet demand. Collaborate to implement new Quality control procedures in production; To be responsible for the financial management of the engineering operations, including the product Bills of Materials and the introduction of a formal stock management system
Requirements: Degree (2: 1 or higher) in Engineering Experience in manufacturing and production Experience of leadership, delegation to others and decision making
