Duties: The successful applicant will be familiar with Kaupapa Māori scholarship and the intersection of Māori and Western based knowledge in psychology. You will be able to teach and supervise indigenous and bicultural psychology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, add to existing strengths in teaching and supervision, and ideally complement existing research concentrations in Te Kura Mātai Hinengaro and more broadly at Te Herenga Waka
Requirements: A PhD in Psychology; Expertise with Kaupapa/Mātauranga Māori and the intersection of the Māori and Western approaches to psychology; Demonstrable expertise in indigenous or bicultural scholarship and/or practice consistent with the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi; Demonstrated evidence of successful teaching in a relevant field at tertiary level
