Duties: Partner with AI researchers and bioinformaticians to develop novel computational methods to infer causality in disease progression; Work closely with biologists in Immunology and Oncology to solve biological questions and validate computational findings; Contribute to drug projects by providing support on target identification and validation, biomarker discovery, patient stratification, clinical trial design, etc; Analyze multi-omics and phenotyping data from research studies, clinical trials and real world databases to identify disease-driving cell types, pathways, and genes
Requirements: Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics, biology, computational biology or a relevant field. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred; 5+ years of industry experience, or 3+ years in industry plus 2+ years academic post-doc experience; Passion for in-depth understanding of biological questions and finding plausible answers with data analytics; Solid biology knowledge in Immunology or Oncology, being able to communicate comfortably with biologists
