Duties: This position is to develop and apply innovative statistical, computational, and machine-learning methods to analyze cutting-edge single-cell and spatial genomics data in pulmonary research. There is a unique opportunity to discover functions and behaviors of cells in lung tissues and identify potential biomarkers related to various pulmonary diseases including lung allograft dysfunction and lung fibrosis. This position will be jointly supervised by Drs. Zhicheng Ji, Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, and Scott Palmer, the Donald F. Fortin, M.D. Distinguished Professor in the Department of Medicine
Requirements: Must hold a PhD degree in biostatistics, statistics, computer science, computational biology, applied mathematics, or a related field
