The position is limited to 3 years with a possible extension in accordance with the WissZeitVG.nnThe newly founded **Compilers & Programming Languages Group**, led by **Roland Leiu00dfa**, is seeking one academic researcher to join the team.nn### Our ResearchnnOur group is part of the Institute of Computer Science within the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science. We focus on the development of innovative programming languages and compilers that enable the creation of portable, high-performance applications for modern computer architectures.nnIn particular, our research addresses various forms of parallelization. As computing systems become increasingly heterogeneous, such tools are of growing importance.nnOur work emphasizes the abstraction of concrete application problems from industry and research, such as simulation software, using theoretically sound methods to create higher-level and reusable solutions.nn### Your ResponsibilitiesnnThis position offers the opportunity to pursue a **PhD degree**.
