Eawag conducts research, education and expert consulting to achieve the dual goals of meeting direct human needs for water and maintaining the function and integrity of aquatic ecosystems.nnWe are pleased to invite applications for ann# 2-Year Postdoctoral Fellowshipnnin the field of aquatic science and technology. Eawag provides a unique research environment to address critical water-related challenges. Our interdisciplinary setting brings together a range of academic disciplines, from natural sciences to engineering and social sciences. The postdoctoral fellow will be hosted within one of [Eawagu2019s 12 Research Departments](https://www.eawag.ch/en/about-us/portrait/organisation/research-departments/).nn**Selection for this position is based on** academic achievements as well as the quality and originality of the proposed research at Eawag. This fellowship is for candidates who have not previously collaborated with Eawag and who completed their doctoral degree within the two years prior to the application deadline (cut-off date 1 February 2024). Candidates expecting to complete their PhD by the end of 2026 are also eligible to apply, provided their degree is conferred before the fellowship begins.nn**Applicants must submit the following materials:**nn- A brief letter of motivation.
