Position: Trainee within Risk Capital Internship at Risk Management, Zurich

Duties: You are part of an engaged and empowered team and will be working in a wonderful office space in Zurich. You support in the quarterly production of IFRS17 key metrics, working alongside other teams and departments. You support the quarterly and year-end calculation of SCR and risk margin via running SCOR’s internal model and performing regular analyses and deep dives. You contribute to presentation of key results to both technical and executive committees
Requirements: Above average University Degree (Master, PhD) in Actuarial Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance or similar discipline; Proficiency with MS Excel and good knowledge through previous experience with statistical tools and programming languages (Python); Good conceptual and analytical capabilities plus being able to approach tasks consistently, goal-oriented and independently; Excellent communication skills and command in English; Demonstrates strong proactivity and has a solution-oriented mindset; Exhibits excellent time management skills and performs effectively under pressure; General understanding and prior knowledge of IFRS 17 framework is a plus; Global mind-set, team player attitude and appetite for continuous learning and achievements in an international context
