The successful candidate will have access to state - of - the - art research computing facilities, including a local university cluster and the Swiss high - performance computing center (CSCS) in Lugano. Institutional funding for a Ph.D. position is provided, alon g with support for travel and research infrastructure expenses. The Faculty is located in the University’s newly opened East Campus, just minutes from the city center, featuring modern classrooms, gyms, and on - campus childcare facilities. Candidates’ profile The successful candidate must: • Hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields. • Have a strong scientific track record in information security or computer security, such as system security, applied cryptography, and other security - related topics. • Show the ability to build and maintain a research group supported by third - party funding. • Be willing to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in information and computer security (all Faculty teaching is in English). pa gina 2 / 2 Job description The post - holder will be expected to: • T each one 6 - ECTS course in the first year, and subsequently one 6 - ECTS course per semester. • A supervision).
