Position: Assistant Professor, Data Analytics

Duties: Expected to begin Spring or Fall 2025, this tenure-track position will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses including Math Modeling in Business, Operations Management, and Business Analytics, and graduate courses including Data/Text Mining, Predictive Analytics, and Big Data Analytics. Student advisement along with departmental, college, and university service is expected. Faculty are further expected to be actively engaged on campus and contribute to an energetic educational environment. The Management, Information Systems, and Data Analytics (MISA) department provides our students with opportunities to cultivate a profound understanding of information systems, technology, and analytics, along with insights into the foremost principles and business practices of the 21st century
Requirements: ABD or holds a Ph.D. in Business/Data Analytics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field at the time of appointment. ABD will be considered for appointment at a lesser (qualified) rank and salary, upon proof that the applicant’s defense of their dissertation will be scheduled within the first year of the appointment. A successful ABD applicant will receive a promotion to the rank of Assistant Professor and a salary increment at the start of the semester following verification of the terminal degree completion. An ABD hire will be limited to a one-year appointment, subject to renewal for one year only (2 years maximum)
