The Department of Emergency Medicine at Indiana University is one of the oldest residency programs in the country. We are looking for leaders, teachers, and scholars with a passion for our tripartite mission: patient care, teaching, and scholarship. Indiana University School of Medicine has nine campuses across the state and educates the largest medical student body in the U.S. IUSM EM provides comprehensive pre-hospital and emergency care at three primary academic hospitals including, Methodist—a level 1 trauma center with an annual volume of 95,000 visits; and Riley Hospital for Children—a level 1 trauma center, burn unit, and tertiary-care facility with a volume of 47,000. Eskenazi Health is a county hospital and IUSM teaching partner—a level 1 Trauma and Burn center with an annual volume of over 88,000 visits.
