Position: Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Ads Intelligence

Duties: Identify advertiser problems, analyze existing data to highlight the problem and opportunity size and propose and implement novel solutions; Build and improve machine learning models and backend systems that underlay ads delivery and advertiser interfaces to maximize value for Pinners, Partners and Pinterest; Run ads delivery experiments that either explore advertiser problems or that validate your solutions to said problems; Drive multi-functional collaboration with peers and partners across the company to identify and solve advertiser problems that stretch across many areas
Requirements: MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics or related field; 6+ years of industry experience; 2+ years of experience leading projects/teams; Strong software engineering and mathematical skills with knowledge of machine learning; Hands-on experience with large-scale online e-commerce systems is a plus; Background in computational advertising
