Position: Postdoc in Polymer Adhesives and Skin Technologies
Institution: Technical University of Denmark
Location: Kongens Lyngby, Lyngby‐Taarbæk Municipality, Denmark
Duties: The position is focused on research, but the candidate should also be prepared for general laboratory responsibilities, teaching, supervision, and outreach tasks. The main responsibilities of the chosen candidates will be to: (1) design, test and optimize new skin adhesive; (2) develop new design principles for water absorbing skin adhesives; (3) maintain and support experimental equipment related to adhesion and skin technologies; (4) support inclusion of these scientific topics in two bachelor courses; (5) supervise bachelor and master project students; (6) initiate new collaborations with relevant partners outside the university
Requirements: Candidates should have (or being close to achieving) a PhD degree in physical chemistry, polymer science or similar, and with a strong background in experimental research; A strong interest in interdisciplinary research; A desire to work across different laboratories and with different partners; A strong collaborative mind-set; A desire to interact with chemistry students at different levels
