Position: Internship Natural Catastrophe Modelling/Pricing (m/f/d)

Duties: Assist the Property underwriters in pricing and Nat Cat modelling of European treaty reinsurance, with a focus on the peak treaty renewal period at the end of the year; Quantitative analysis of client claims information, exposures and portfolios; Support annual portfolio accumulation process with our pricing actuaries; Participate actively in Munich Re Group internal and external Nat Cat and pricing projects
Requirements: University degree in quantitative field or natural sciences; Good analytical skills and a flair for numbers; Advanced user of Microsoft Office (especially Excel); Experience in statistics and probabilistic modelling; Knowledge in natural hazards and/or Nat Cat Modelling would be a plus; Programming experience desirable (R, Python, SQL, Excel power tools)
