Duties:	New agroforestry systems can be advantageously introduced in the Po Valley to mitigate the negative impact of climate change and improve the use efficiency of production factors. A screening will be conducted on winter cereal species (wheat, barley, rye and triticale) and their varieties grown under conditions of artificial shading at different intensities, with the aim of identifying morphological markers associated with the adaptability to shading. In mature agroforestry systems it will also be studied the yield response of wheat and barley grown in combination with poplar arranged in rows adjacent to the drains (alley cropping system); agr/02 - agronomia e coltivazioni erbacee

Verrà condotto uno screening di specie cerealicole vernine (frumento, orzo, segale e triticale) e loro varietà in condizioni di ombreggiamento artificiale a diversa intensità, con l’obiettivo di individuare dei marcatori morfologici associati all'adattamento all'ombreggiamento. In sistemi agroforestali maturi si intende inoltre studiare la risposta produttiva del frumento e dell’orzo coltivati in combinazione con pioppo disposto in filari adiacenti le scoline (sistema di tipo alley cropping).
