Position: Senior Actuary, Individual Retirement

Duties: Build new model methodologies/capabilities to evaluate new products & features; Performing projections, analyze, summarize, and communicate results; Clearly document all model and assumptions changes and processes; Provide key metrics (VNB, IRR, ROA, etc.) with regard to proposed product designs through the use of actuarial models; Collaborating with other IR Squads and Finance/Risk Management teams regarding product development projects and develop experience studies for assumption setting; Prepare documents for and communicate with Risk Management regarding PAP and RWST assumption setting; Interaction with corporate actuarial (model development) team for new products or iterations to ensure value metrics are understood and consistent
Requirements: Bachelor's degree; FSA (or near FSA) designation; 3+ years of professional actuarial work experience; Working experience or knowledge of dynamic hedge program & strategy including derivative pricing, General Account investment implications (annuities, bond pricing, cost of capital, ALM); Demonstrated understanding of financial reporting, key metrics (US GAAP and/or Stat/EEM)
