Position: Sr. Machine Learning Engineer

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, United States
Duties: Collaborate with Data Scientists and product experts to evaluate opportunities for applying ML and NLP technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of health care; to scale and optimize efficiency of internal processes; and to find insights latent in the data that may not be discoverable otherwise; For compelling opportunities, collaborate with product designers, content experts, data science colleagues, and DevOps specialists to design, develop, train, evaluate, deploy, monitor, and to maintain robust ML and NLP applications; Help optimize existing ML models and NLP solutions for better accuracy and performance, particularly in processing healthcare-related data; Work with content experts and data architects to build and improve data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and integration for ML and NLP applications
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree strongly preferred; Minimum of 2 years of experience working with ML and NLP technologies with a focus on applications using regulated data, healthcare preferred. Experience with NLG technologies and/or generative AI preferred; Experience creating and managing large and complex data sets for use in AI or other advanced analytic models with corresponding languages like SQL, R, SAS and Python
