Position: Life Structurer (m/f/d)
Institution: New Reinsurance Company Ltd
Location: Zürich, Switzerland
Duties: Provide support to the marketing, pricing and onboarding teams during the new business acquisition process; Analyse appraisal reports, transaction documents, and policy data; Generate cash flow projections for new life reinsurance transactions; Perform risk and profitability analyses of life insurance and reinsurance products and in-force portfolios; Develop appropriate reinsurance solutions encompassing accounting, regulatory and economic risk transfer aspects; Participate in client meetings and strategic projects; Contribute to the approval and onboarding of transactions; Collaborate with other teams like risk management, operations and accounting
Requirements: University degree in mathematics, actuarial science, business economics or a related field; Experience in life insurance or reinsurance, corporate finance, investment banking or financial institution consultancy; Experience in pricing and structuring bespoke reinsurance contracts or in insurance mergers and acquisitions; Knowledge of international accounting and regulatory frameworks in the context of the life insurance industry (CH and US jurisdictions are a plus); Proficient in developing practical and efficient solutions from theoretical knowledge; High degree of personal integrity and strong sense of responsibility; Creative and open to new approaches; Proficient in Microsoft Office tools; Fluent in English
