Position: Actuarial Analyst, Associate Actuary, Actuary

Duties: master policy rerating tools and use them to produce estimated quotes for BOP and other small business commercial lines; gain knowledge of internal and external data sources relevant to rating insurance policies and understand the contents and limitations of each; recommend approaches to estimating policy characteristics in the absence of verified policy data; explore new data sources as they become available and document the contents and limitations of each; communicate with business partners about their needs and expectations
Requirements: advanced degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, actuarial science, or other related fields; graduate degree or Ph.D. is preferred; at least three years of property/casualty actuarial experience; proficiency with Microsoft® Excel; experience with VBA, SQL, SAS, R and/or Python
