The selected candidate will support ongoing research projects centered around cell biology, molecular biology with a focus on calcium signalling in melanoma cancer cells. Skills in handling cancer cells and knowledge and expertise in standard molecular biological methods such as tissue culture, qPCR, western blots, proliferation assays, imaging, immunofluorescence, FACS, etc. are necessary. The candidate will be part of research team focusing on calcium signalling in melanoma cells, embedded in the Signal Transduction group. The candidate must be proficient in English (working language in the research group)
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in biology/biochemistry or related field; Language: English is a must, French or German in addition would be an asset; Ideally, previous professional experience at least as biological laboratory technician; Willingness to work in a team and adapt to experimental requirements; Problem solving mentality
