Position:	Strategic Research Development Manager

Duties:	Develop and implement overarching strategy for international research funding with a focus on EU support and a funder and discipline-facing attitude; Build and maintain regular exchange with relevant national and international stakeholders and research funding networks; Build strong relationships and credibility with academic and administrative staff across the University, working collaboratively to advance research and innovation goals and to foster academic and operational excellence throughout the institution; Drive efficient processes for financial and administrative management of complex projects, in cooperation with the Research Support Department and the University’s administrative services
Requirements:	Proven track record in academic research management throughout multiple scientific disciplines; Deep knowledge of the higher education sector and of EU funding programs; Well established international network; Knowledge and understanding of Luxembourg’s ecosystem and International research and innovation funding environment; Excellent communication and negotiation skills
