Position: Administrator
Institution: University of Luxembourg
Location: Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
Duties: Specialized support for research administration activities on a daily basis; Administering finance activities by performing standard accounting, controlling tasks and reporting tasks; Administering complete processes for purchase orders, follow-up and verifying invoices, travel expenses, service contract follow-up, external expert, etc; Monitoring budgets, tracking, and forecasting expenses; Point of contact for finance and grant related matters for the Department; Liaise with the Faculty finance team; Understanding funding body specific reporting requirements and drafting financial reports within standard procedures
Requirements: Higher vocational certificate or diploma or equivalent by experience specialized in business administration or similar; 5+ years of relevant experience; Advanced skills in handling financial and administrative reports; Team work experience at the interface with other administrative & financial team; Excellent communication skills; Fluency in both French and English (in addition, German language skills would be considered an advantage
