Being the first point of contact from the Engineering department for technical support i.e., customer, supplier, and internal related queries for assigned projects; Arranging for technical support on activities for the assigned projects; Attending kick off, contract award discussions, client meetings & internal technical meetings; Supporting technical questions relating to drawings and technical data (including vendor drawings and data) issued to the customer; Supporting and driving continuous process and tool development, participating in global design & standardisation initiatives; Liaising with the customer to clarify any technical questions and problems during the production process, particularly circumstances requiring customer approval
Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent); HNC/Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering; Experience of working within a multi-disciplined engineering team is required; Technical experience in projects and/or complex engineering activities; Knowledge of package related products; Approval of technical documents; Direct communication with suppliers and customers
