Position: Epidemiologist

Duties: We are seeking an Epidemiologist to help expand UK Biobank’s ability to curate and interpret complex molecular assay data and contribute to a programme of research that demonstrates the scientific utility of large-scale sample assay data. You will be responsible for facilitating the integration and research use of newly generated molecular assay data, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to deliver assay-based resource enhancements, adapting existing and developing new research methodologies and contribute ideas for new research projects
Requirements: To be considered, you must hold a higher degree (e.g. MSc/PhD) in epidemiology, statistics or a related subject, have significant relevant experience in epidemiology, statistics or a related subject and have excellent understanding of epidemiological studies and methods for large-scale analysis of molecular data. You also have excellent communication skills, including the ability to present research proposals and results
   
Text: Epidemiologist - UK Biobank Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford), Old Road Campus, Headington, Oxford Oxford Population Health (the Nuffield Department of Population Health) provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching and for professional and support staff. We work together to answer some of the most important questions about the causes, prevention and treatment of disease. We are seeking an Epidemiologist to help expand UK Biobank’s ability to curate and interpret complex molecular assay data and contribute to a programme of research that demonstrates the scientific utility of large-scale sample assay data. You will be responsible for facilitating the integration and research use of newly generated molecular assay data, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to deliver assay-based resource enhancements, adapting existing and developing new research methodologies and contribute ideas for new research projects.
