A PhD degree in areas such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, or other relevant to this position; Proven ability to work in the following areas: microbial electrochemistry, traditional and modern microbiology, modelling, and bioreactor engineering; Strong competences within fermentations and understanding of gas/liquid mass transfer issues; Experience on bioprocess upscaling and extrapolation of experimental data; Previous experience in execution of research projects
