Advise clients on a wide range of Swiss tax issues including tax residence matters, cross-border tax implications, social security matters, taxable benefits and tax reconciliation processes; Supervise the annual Swiss tax compliance work for a portfolio of approximately 100-150 individual clients, with international exposure (tax filing, tax notice, tax appeals, tax audits, social security matters, arrival/departure meetings, tax equalization, tax projections); Negotiate with the tax authorities regarding tax rulings, tax appeals and complex tax situations; Communicate with individual taxpayers and other KPMG offices, as well as HR and Payroll contacts at our corporate clients; Take the responsibility of engagement letters, offers to clients, invoicing clients; Build strong relationships with our client's executives and act as a central point of contact for the Swiss local HR as well as for other KPMG offices on clients you will be responsible for; Represent KPMG during internal and external events; Identify business opportunities by building relationships both internally and externally and assist with the development of proposals in order to win new business; Coach, develop and manage team members and take ownership in shaping and further developing our team
Requirements:
A minimum of 5-6 years'experience in individual tax, with a Big 4 or consulting background in Switzerland; Leadership and ability to train and develop younger team members. A first experience in Management is a plus; An excellent Swiss Tax knowledge is required in addition to a solid experience in advising international clients; Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service, excellent organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines, initiative; Be able to demonstrate team spirit and able to work in a multicultural environment; Excellent collaboration and communication skills, analytically minded and solution-oriented; Fluent in French and in English. A good level in another language would be an asset
