Position: Lead Consultant - Data Scientist
Institution: Eli Lilly and Company
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Duties: Set up processes to ensure continuous high-quality delivery by the team, including but not limited to implementing best project management practices (agile/scrum as needed); Support a team of highly talented professionals (data scientists, ML Ops); and implement upskilling plans as required for business need, working in close collaboration with the people leader; Strategize on key opportunities/whitespaces, drive discussions and expand outcomes from LCCI for data science driven business solutions; Integrate working model for analytics capabilities across BI&A teams, and where possible, across other LCCI teams to drive better cross-team resourcing, cross-pollination of best practices and expansion of LCCI capabilities
Requirements: Master’s/Ph.D. degree in technology, statistics/mathematics, econometrics, operations research or computer science; 12-18 years of relevant work experience with demonstrated experience of working as data scientist/managing complex projects and cross-functional teams; Strong foundational understanding in applied statistics
