Position: Sr. Scientist - Computational Biology

Duties: Lead the development and maintenance of web applications designed to facilitate exploratory biomarker visualizations for Amgen clinical trial data; Support the deployment web applications, focusing on seamless integration with backend databases, as well as the crafting of intuitive front-end interfaces and engaging visualizations; Engage in collaborative efforts with a multidisciplinary team, including computational biologists, biomarker scientists, bioinformatics experts, and data scientists, to innovate and expand the application's capabilities, specifically in the realm of high-content, multi-omics biomarker data (e.g., ctDNA, RNA-seq, proteomics)
Requirements: MS in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioengineering or a related field; Proficient in Python and/or R, with a strong foundation in data-processing techniques and adherence to best practices in programming; Skilled in data ETL processes, database design, the development and deployment of full-stack applications, and creating impactful data visualizations; Experience with DASH/Flask/Rshiny is a plus
