The technician will perform: Some numerical simulations of models of thermodynamically consistent pulsating active matter; This will include large scale simulations using the High Performance Computer available free of charge in Luxembourg; The main task will be to write and optimize numerical codes, and to run an efficient search in parameter space to identify relevant regimes where deformation waves develop
Requirements:
Scientist with a background in physics with a Bachelor degree; Very good grades and references; Fluent in English; Good communication skills with ability to discuss with students and teaching staff; Proficiency in working and communicating in a multicultural environment
