Position: Senior Actuarial Analyst

Duties: Perform actuarial analysis of the profitability (pricing study) for select lines of business; Support the development and enhancement of efficient tool kits and infrastructure for the Actuarial Pricing Study function, to enable business critical delivery of the Financial Plan, including rate planning for PRS across all lines of business. Engage and co-ordinate the support of other functions such as IT, Product, and Finance to ensure seamless delivery. Liaise with Pricing Actuaries and other key stakeholders to ensure tools are fit for purpose; Build and implement profitability monitoring tools and diagnostic initiatives, while maintaining documentation of data and processes. Incorporate new analyses and models into the profitability studies where useful; Create actuarial reports and dashboards that foster transparency and consistency and tell a compelling story to both internal and external stakeholders
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related degree or certification; Minimum of four (4) years insurance industry experience, preferably in a Personal lines, Small Commercial, or Loss Reserving role; 4+ actuarial exams; Expert Excel and SQL skills required
