Position: PostDoc Digital Innovation Hub/Manufacturing Sector

Location: Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
Duties: Act as the primary point of contact for the Luxembourg DIH project, leading the work package to deliver light and full DMA (Digital Maturity Assessment) for manufacturing companies; Contribute to the "test before invest" activities, conducting assessments and evaluations related to Industry 4.0 technologies and solutions, with a specific focus on the Luxembourg manufacturing sector; Build strong relationships and establish credibility with key stakeholders in the manufacturing sector, including manufacturing companies and innovation agencies such as Luxinnovation; Collaborate with industry partners and stakeholders to drive the digital transformation of the manufacturing sector, identifying opportunities for innovation, process optimization, and productivity improvement
Requirements: A PhD in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering is required. People with industry experience are strongly encouraged to apply; Proven experience in project management, preferably in the context of digital transformation or innovation projects within the manufacturing sector; Competences of Industry 4.0 technologies, trends, and best practices; Familiarity with the Luxembourg research, manufacturing and innovation ecosystem would be an advantage; Knowledge of European context for the digital transformation through research and innovation; Ability to analyze the maturity of manufacturing companies and suggest short- and long-term digital transition roadmap; Analytical mindset and ability
