The ideal candidate will demonstrate potential for teaching excellence and a dedication to student success, while upholding values of equity, diversity, and inclusion in teaching. Responsibilities include teaching introductory finance and quantitative courses to both undergraduate and graduate students. This is a one-year position with no guarantee of future roles. Required qualifications, experience, and skills - A PhD or Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g. an MBA ), or equivalent professional accreditation; - Established record of teaching excellence in relevant courses, and promise of teaching excellence in the case of early career individuals or individuals outside of academia; Preferable qualifications, experience, and skills - Ph.D. or equivalent, or equivalent professional accreditation and professional experience of at least 5 years; - Evidence of efforts to foster safer spaces for equity-deserving groups; - Experience teaching larger introductory undergraduate courses; - Experience with online teaching and pedagogical innovation. The Department of Finance is home to eight full-time faculty members who work collegially to accomplish our goals.
