Position: Bioinformatics Scientist

Duties: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Bioinformatics Scientist to join our growing team at Monoceros Bio. We partner with many small to midsize BioTech to accelerate drug discovery and development through innovative bioinformatic solutions. In this role, you will play a vital role in analyzing and interpreting next-generation sequencing (NGS) data, contributing to the success of our client projects from initial data exploration to actionable insights. We tackle client projects ranging from target identification through regulatory agency interactions and help them meet their internal demands and move their products and ideas forward. Candidates must have a proven track record of successfully managing and completing projects on their own, showcasing their ability to work independently while still contributing to the team’s overall objectives
Requirements: Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field with a strong biological background; A strong desire to contribute to improving human health through innovative bioinformatic solutions; Proficient in R and Python with experience in scientific computing libraries (e.g., Bioconductor, Scikit-learn); Solid understanding of NGS technologies
