Position:	Research and Development Specialist - Bio Medical Image Analysis

Duties:	Participate in research activities involved in the biomedical image analysis. This includes filtering, segmentation, feature extraction, enhancement, implementation and deployment of image analysis algorithms; Participate as a team member in experimental design and data analysis; Coordinate publications related to the project and scientific results; Work in close collaboration with LCSB members on scientific projects
Requirements:	Master’s degree or equivalent in bioinformatics, computational biology, medical engineering, computer science, with an interest in biomedical informatics and translational medicine; Hands-on experience of medical image analysis in health research or industry for at least 3 years using MATLAB and/or Python environment; MATLAB; Expertise in Image Processing Toolbox for image enhancement, segmentation, and feature extraction is required. Experience App Designer for interface development are advantageous. (and/or)
