Position: Physician-Scientist in Neurology
Institution: University of Luxembourg
Location: Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
Duties: Clinical care within inpatient and outpatient care at the Neurology Department of the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg; Recruitment of patients for the cohort study of the National Centre of Excellence in Research on Parkinson’s disease (NCER-PD); Setup and optimisation of workflows for patient recruitment; Active participation in clinical studies for improved diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases; Execution of scientific projects with national and international collaboration partners on research projects
Requirements: Medical degree (MD) recognized in Luxembourg and interest in specialisation training in Neurology; Interest in clinical research on neurodegeneration; Independent, highly motivated and committed; Excellent organisational skills; Good interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively within multidisciplinary and international teams; Fluent spoken and written French and/or German, proficiency in English, and willingness to generally improve fluency in languages; Good computer skills for standard software (Excel, Word, etc.)
