These data are georeferenced and at high temporal and spatial resolution
Requirements: You should hold a PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics or related quantitative discipline and have a thorough understanding of epidemiological concepts in observational studies. You should also have an understanding of the wider determinants of health, including the relationship between environment and health inequalities. Experience in handling big administrative data is important. You should be motivated and extremely organised with experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams

This post is funded by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Health Protection Research Unit (HPRU) in Environmental Exposures and Health (EEH) led by Professor Frank Kelly in collaboration with the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA). Key collaborations will be with the Radiation, Chemicals and Environmental Hazards Directorate at UKHSA and epidemiologists, biostatisticians, public health professionals and clinicians in the MRC Centre for Environment and Health and the NIHR HPRU in Chemical and Radiation Threats and Hazards . We are seeking a talented epidemiologist who is familiar with the analysis and interpretation of population-based and cohort studies. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary research group and you will have the opportunity to develop expertise through collaboration with geo-spatial epidemiologists, biostatisticians, public health professionals, environmental exposure scientists and modellers and database managers.
