A strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research in an undergraduate liberal arts setting is essential. The successful candidate will teach a broad range of courses in our growing statistics curriculum and develop courses for our First-Year Experience (FYE) seminar program and senior seminar. Faculty teach 18 contact hours per year, which is typically a 3:2 course load, with a course release in the first year. Startup funds, pre- and post-tenure sabbaticals, and travel funds are also available. The appointment will be at the rank of assistant professor. Education: a doctorate in statistics, biostatistics, or a closely related field is required.
