Position: ICT Specialist Support and Infrastructure Management

Duties: Operation of laptops, printers, servers (NAS), network connections (WLAN, switch, internet connection); Hardware/software support, IT needs assessment and access management, including operation, management and replacement of the IT infrastructure in the local offices in accordance with the IT strategies and policies (software updates, licences, certificates, etc.) and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Requirements: Completed EFZ vocational training in informatics or similar with at least three (3) years of professional experience in IT support in an international environment; Good proficiency in French AND English (speaking & writing) required. Knowledge of German (speaking & writing) is of advantage; Experience in coordinating, evaluating, planning and implementing various hardware, software, and network infrastructure, including the deployment of default hardware and the implementation of smaller to mid-scale IT projects as well as the assessment and documentation of user requirements; Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 Operating System, MS Applications, MS Cloud Services, basic knowledge of Linux clients

Within our health sector portfolio, we are managing portfolios related to immunization programme strengthening and monitoring. The advertised position is funded by SCIH and is located in the Informatics Unit of the Administration Department. ICT Specialist Support and Infrastructure Management 100% Your various responsibilities include: Operation of laptops, printers, servers (NAS), network connections (WLAN, switch, internet connection) Hardware/software support, IT needs assessment and access management, including operation, management and replacement of the IT infrastructure in the local offices in accordance with the IT strategies and policies (software updates, licences, certificates, etc.) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Provide user training including the creation of user documentation, and onboarding new local employees on the use of IT infrastructure, rules and regulations, IT security and IT procedures Support IT audits and manage responses to audit observations Implement and follow-up on IT security measures of Swiss TPH local offices You should have the following experience and skills: Completed EFZ vocational training in informatics or similar with at least three (3) years of professional experience in IT support in an international environment Good proficiency in French AND English (speaking & writing) required. Knowledge of German (speaking & writing) is of advantage Experience in coordinating, evaluating, planning and implementing various hardware, software, and network infrastructure, including the deployment of default hardware and the implementation of smaller to mid-scale IT projects as well as the assessment and documentation of user requirements Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 Operating System, MS Applications, MS Cloud Services, basic knowledge of Linux clients Familiarity with best practices around IT security Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
