Position: Research Associate (Postdoc) in 6G NTN Physical Layer

Duties: Develop a full-stack simulation platform for multiuser precoding in NTN following 3GPP New Radio specifications; Perform simulation of precoding and frequency management in NTN systems, including NGSO Satellites; Closely collaborate with the company SES Satellites (Société Européenne des Satellites) regarding the 3GPP precoding in satellite systems; Implementation and testing of predefined algorithms on SDR environments; Disseminate results through scientific publications in the top-tier venues; Coordinating research projects and preparing project deliverables and new research proposals; Providing assistance in the supervision of PhD students
Requirements: The candidate should possess a Ph.D. degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields; Proven track record and experience in PHY, precoding and multiuser systems; Good knowledge on 3GPP New Radio PHY specifications; Test-bed design and implementation on Software Defined Radio, OpenAirInterface platforms; Wireless and/or Satellite communications
