The program follows the standard international format with rigorous coursework in the first year and for the remaining, up to four years, work on research projects that will make up the final thesis. All courses are in English and taught by local faculty and visiting scholars from renowned universities/business schools
Requirements:
Candidates who already hold a research-oriented Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Financial engineering, Econometrics, Statistics or other related fields (ideally with a quantitative focus) may, exceptionally, directly join the doctoral school. For other candidates, depending on the specific student’s degree, the full program or some additional courses of the Master in Quantitative Economics & Finance at the University of Luxembourg have to be completed in the first year
