Position: Data Scientist for Image-based High Content Drug Screening in Personalized Oncology

Duties: HC image-derived drug screening data visualization and statistical analyses; Incorporating statistical evaluation into the established analysis workflows; Task automation management: setup automated workflow/pipeline of image-derived drug screening data; Management of large image and data sets (local server and high-performance cluster); Analyses of high-throughput, patient-derived genoproteomic data; Working with the research group of Prof. Bentires-Alj and supporting colleagues in their research projects; Actively participate in scientific discussions and present your work
Requirements: The successful candidate holds a MSc (PhD is a plus) degree in bioinformatics, statistics, computational biology or related fields. The candidate should be highly motivated, have a robust training in visualization, statistical analyses and interpretation of image-derived HC drug screening data
