Position: Valuation Actuary for Business Group Property & Casualty

Duties: Compiling and processing actuarial reserve analyses for Hannover Re's P&C business; Drawing up quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS 17 as well as valuation according to Solvency II; Economic valuation of the worldwide P&C (re)insurance business as a basis for corporate management and performance measurement; Reserving of regional, customer-specific and line-of-business-specific subsegments both at Group head office and at our international locations for all relevant financial statements (HGB, IFRS 17, Solvency II); Communication with internal and external customers such as independent auditors, analysts and colleagues from Hannover Re's international network
Requirements: Degree in (business) mathematics, physics, computer science or economic/scientific studies with a mathematical focus; Business-fluent user skills in German and English (at least level B2); Structured way of thinking, recognition of complex correlations and solution-oriented approach to problems

Your Tasks You calculate reserves for the internal and external reporting, which are additionally needed for performance measurement and capital allocation, and reconcile these with the stakeholders.
