Position: Software Systems Engineer - ML & AI

Duties: Engineering of tax and legal digital services & systems using machine learning, AI, and intelligent automation technologies; Design, implement, test, and operate automation services for the value streams of this portfolio, following prevalent practices of devsecops, MLOps, compliance as code and SRE disciplines; Implement data management and integration practices and technologies to deliver productive experience and efficient processes within Tax & legal technology portfolio; Conduct business value hypothesis experiments using emerging technology such as Generative AI and further scale these solutions to business services
Requirements: Practical experience in AI system design and engineering practices, applied to enterprise business domains; Experience backed knowledge of ML and AI technologies and models with familiarity of Azure native AI, ML and automation tech stacks; Good proficiency and active hands-on experience in Azure cloud, Azure devops, MLOps and CI/CD practices of modern software engineering; Familiarity and some working experience with modern AI tech (e.g., Gen AI tech from Azure or OSS providers) will be an added advantage; Good grounding and working experience with continuous delivery practice; Strong sense of data management and engineering with ability to design data models, engineer data integration solutions for both structured and unstructured data; Ability to balance delivery, stakeholder communication and architecture design topics (with strong focus on engineering led delivery practices); Experience in the field of Big Four and/or tax or legal is considered an asset; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Learning mindset and ability to learn and adapt in emerging situations; Strong sense of software quality through design, code and test; Be passionate, motivated and think entrepreneurial and support the continuous improvement and transformation of the DBT team
