The Tactical Aerospace Department is a premier supplier for aerospace quality technology insertion on new and legacy DoD systems. This includes avionics, ground systems, and cutting edge third generation AI/ML. Objectives of this Role: This role is intended to be a key member of our Neuromorphic/Cognitive AI research and development team and will be driving strategies and implementations of our AI solutions to meet our customers’ expectations. Support the development, learning, and test of AI as applied to Systems, UAS, avionics, EW, and/or aerospace subsystems. Drive, create, and implement AI technology/functionality and deployment strategies. Perform Literature reviews, interface with academics, write proposals and implement/deploy those systems. Train AI, test AI, and perform analyses. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: Develop Solutions for AI systems and embedded aerospace/avionics systems and subsystems. Develop Solutions for neuromorphic AI/ML. Develop AI/ML Solutions for Aircraft systems, EW, SIGINT, and/or sensor fusion. Perform Data Science and analytics. Drive the team to meet budgets and schedules. Requirements: Requires a Masters degree (preferred PhD) in Artificial Intelligence or equivalent. Shift work required. 8 years: Shown industry AI experience Preferred experience developing AI and other software while using Python, Tensor Flow, Keras, PyTorch, or other AI development environments. Preferred experience deploying internal research projects, and/or experience with analysis techniques. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
