The research project focuses on: Machine learning based protein engineering. Constructing synthetic biology circuits in mammalian cells. Imaging using bioengineered cells in a rodent. Developing innovative approaches for imaging cancer treatment. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, give presentations on research, write papers, and provide progress reports to the Principal Investigator, and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in the lab. This position is a 12-month fixed term appointment. Renewal of position is based on funding and performance. Application review will begin on June 14, 2023. This position is available immediately. Required Degree Doctorate -molecular biology, computational biology Minimum Requirements PhD or equivalent degree in Chemical or Biomedical Engineering or related field. Excellent communication skills are essential.
