Specific responsibilities for this role include: LEVEL B - Lecturer: Actively develop educational resources for mathematics and statistics education. Supervise Honours and Masters Coursework projects if required; and supervise PhD and Masters Research students if required. Teach mathematics and/or statistics courses to a range of audiences at the University as required. Teach specialist Honours and Masters level courses, if required. Contribute to the design and delivery of the School’s teaching programs and courses. Actively participate in School activities and demonstrate an ability and willingness take on administrative roles in the School. Undertake administrative duties as specified by the Head of School and participate in School, Faculty and/or University committees as required. About the successful applicant (Selection Criteria) To be successful in this role you will have: LEVEL B - Lecturer: PhD or equivalent qualification in mathematics or statistics, and/or relevant work experience. Demonstrated experience in teaching Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, or Statistics. Demonstrated ability to contribute to online teaching. Capacity to conduct productive research and/or scholarship related to mathematics and statistics education.
